| Information | Nature and architectural photography is my emphasis, mostly in the Midwest. I grew up with a Nikon FM SLR with film, but I now shoot mostly digital. My nature photography is usually to bring attention to the beauty and quiet serendipitous moments I experience as I am in the outdoors. I also do some freelance photojournalism for special projects that might help bring attention to society's tragedies like homelessness and poverty. I love to shoot endangered species and say I helped make a difference, but I am starting from a local perspective...and my location right now is limiting in the wildlife I see. I am strongly influenced by the work of Jim Zukermann and Ansel Adams. | |
